Kiyoko M. Hairston is a creative storyteller, actress, and voice artist with a passion for inspiring children to embrace what makes them unique. She is the author of Freeda’s Fabnificent Feet, her debut picture book celebrating self‑acceptance, confidence, and the joy of standing out.

Drawing from her own childhood—where she often felt different—Kiyoko infuses Freeda’s story with warmth, humor, and authenticity. Her creative background spans acting, radio, voice‑over work, and coaching children in acting, giving her a special ability to connect with young audiences.

Through school visits, library readings, and community events, Kiyoko shares the world of The Splendificent City of Ginormous Promise, where Freeda’s adventures begin. Her mission is to encourage children to discover that their uniqueness isn’t a weakness—it’s a superpower.
